Bucket

Bucket

A Poem by Donald Meikle

without you all these years
I filled a bucket full of tears
Then made ice cubes
To help drown my sorrows
And face more tomorrows
Then I d begun
T lay in the sun
Tasted and wasted and basted
Well done
Or
Rare
I dont really care
Im thinking of
Rhyming
With bucket

I like the bit of play there with the gee.... what rhymes with Bucket? It is a moving poem that I was following and understanding and then the clincher..... haha.... Been tasted, wasted and basted..... Playful and sad....
