Past Panoramic

Past Panoramic

A Poem by Donald Meikle

That tiki bar on Waikiki that spun so slowly round
To view The Market Place across the street and then towards the Clouds
Next Queens Surf and then the sea and sand Thru stacks of boards
To the luau tables at The Sands and the Kaiser pink hotel
Sipping slowly feeling good lonely everso
reminiscing palmswept winds
of too damned long ago
