Hello Sweet LadyA Poem by Donald MeikleWinding Down (and then I heard there's a hurricane coming!)
I sit in quiet contemplation.
Another day begins to end. Fluttering in balmy breezes, Sips a tiny feathered friend. Blossoms wave in in painted glory. Pollon heavy bees yet lumber Back to hives to brag in dance. Nature's sweet unending story, Whispered promise soft romance. While above the white lined clouds Flow on by in smoky splendor Casting shadows on the ground. And butterflies compete in pairs. This lazy hazy day of Summer Drifts into memories and airs. On my lap contented cat Balances and lays and purrs.
