Xylem, phloem all dryA Poem by Linda alexanderMaple trees are supposed to live around seventy five to hundred years, humans too need xylem and phloem nourished
Phloem, xylem all are dry, no water, no nutrition
The branch of maple is brittle, leaves are scarce Some limbs already on the ground, and getting spongy Can you help, some water at present is critical Embrace my brittle bark, little attention frequently Keep an eye over me, when you peek through window Look at me, talk to me, sing to me, wait until I respond You seem like forgot, trees have life and emotions
