Obliged obliged are we meant to be obliged

What is really meant by obliged just curious

Is it stretching longer, wider and getting thinner 

Is it pouring more in another's cup and starving self 

Fencing the own territory and just be obliged'

Why you are obliged to whom you are obliged

Is it the pressure on you compels you obliged

Obliged to strangers or for family and friends only

Is it meant by basic obligation to immediate ones

Is it meant by worldly to every single creature

Obliged obliged are we meant to be obliged

the best mother that I can be, the best teacher I can be,

i love this...but i do feel there is only one person we are really obliged to...and that is ourselves...

but some of us can't shake that feeling of owing to everyone and everything else...just happens...just is.
