Beautiful lifeless tree

Beautiful lifeless tree

A Poem by Linda alexander

Look there's my beautiful tree
Well watered and nourished all year along
It was even waving the branches to welcome me
When I touched it was a lifeless tree

It invited me to become lifeless too
I became lifeless just to join the tree
Look there's my beautiful lifeless tree
I stand near my tree as a lifeless human tree

Your poetry expresses how even one can be full of fruits (fruitful days) & .. be so lone around fruitless nights at the same time... standing under the shadow of blueberry tree; lying (on) beneath the bliss of starring (twinkling) moon.. by the edge of river... on the bank of wet grass with memories. Beautiful imagery you've come up with.

One typo: "there is my beautiful tree" .. replace "there is" with "there's".

A sad way to live and view the world.
Trees are something to cherish, as life is too.
They give life through their existence.
You showed your views through your words
with the relations.

A great analogy in this poem. Lifeless tree and lifeless humans sharing a lifeless world. Your poetry has a great meaning...:)..................

wow this is something like how a relationship can be so inviting, yet suck us dry---destroy us...

and we become emotional skeletons...
love the allegory here.
