Destiny of a tree

Destiny of a tree

A Poem by Linda alexander

You cut the tree and I thought it is for furniture
You cut it at the very base so that almost nothing is left
Why did you left it simply to decay over the years
It could have been a beautiful tree if was not cut

Did you see so many bestowed their energy for the tree
I can not fully accept but I can understand it well
Will the tree can gets it's own wings to fly not to fly away
Is it too sad the tree simply dies without a destiny

A family tree can be decimated by fallouts that shake the very root. Years/centuries of honour can be wiped out on a whim. We have seen it with political dynastys and royal families whose kids act as if they are entitled - not just lucky - and who react in shock when they find that the public at large does have a limit to its tolerance.
The tree can be the source of its own downfall.

Such a compassionate write! Trees are cut down for many reasons, but the result is the same....they never grow to provide shade and we never get to see their beautiful leaves on strong branches. Lovely thoughts here. Lydi**

It is sad when man destroys nature in a whim without replenishing the work of those before them. A great reminder of who not to be. :D
