Today

Today

A Poem by Linda alexander

Today is only what we have
Today is for change
Tomorrow not ours if life turn its face
Today you embrace everything you can

You must eat and drink and bathe in sunlight
You must enjoy mild breeze and it's songs
You must enjoy the sunset and moon light
You should sleep well in your bed

as the Grassroots sang "sha lala live for today, and don't worry about tomorrow"
we worry so much about tomorrow we forget that way too often.
this is an excellent reminder with your words...just one thing..i think you meant "its face" and "its songs"
but a wise piece indeed...
