The affection and then the passion is felt deeply in this frolicking melodic poem that flows at a new and fun pace for what I have grown accustomed to from your pen. There is a deep desire woven through these stanzas, a feeling of want and need, the smiles of finding these actions and the thoughts of what should happen if it is ends. All of it touches the reader and allows them to be a part of story. Love the form of this.
Dear Linda. I adored the complete poem.
"A web of silk,
thin-threaded milk
in a rhythmic sway.
The strands of life,
a man and wife
dancing still today."
The above lines. We do need. Thank you dear friend for sharing the outstanding poetry.

Your gift for imagery is strongly represented in this offering, for I haven't seen so many evocative images in a long time. Another interesting point to me is that the work stops just short of erotica, and in some instances, such as the penultimate verse, may actually cross the line. Also glad to see an emergence from the dark side in this one. Well done.
Poetry has been my passion since I was about fifteen years old, and I love the structure of rhyme and meter moreso than just randomly throwing words upon a page without any form whatsoever.
