So true! Emerson said in the 19th century, as I remember it, "An institution is the lengthened shadow of one man." Today, the institution is the shadow that swallows all men.

The main influence for this was the Unabomber manifesto. Ted Kaczynski has a fundamentally wrong and extremely twisted take on revenge but he was not crazy. For an anarchist, he was about as perfect as that ideology gets in reality. He certainly belongs in prison for the rest of his life, however his ideas do not. If he wasn't consumed with reclusive revenge and socially retarded hatred I think he would of been a once in a lifetime type of scholar instead of a once in a lifetime type of domestic terrorist. Most people aren't aware that he's published two books in recent history. One of them as recently as 2016 ("Anti-Tech Revolution: Why and How" (2016)). He's still incredibly sane and insightful from his supermax prison cell at 70 plus years of age.
