pessimistic
and angry 

toxic tension

of a new life

irrelevant

confused

day by day

making a living 

day to day

making enemies

out of anything
  all for reasons
i can no longer understand

When we reach that level of purposelessness, we are basically grasping at straws. It’s morbid. The sinking brain craves anything to keep it engaged, alive. Strife, toxicity, fights are like stimulants that jolt it to life, keep it going, even if negatively.

Some things can never be erased and pretending otherwise just makes it bleed into your normal life in ways you cannot foresee. I wish I was still 20-something, back when I hadn't been alive long enough for that kind of thing to really matter yet.
