Amoral is Nature

mother nature is amoral

the presence of good
the presence of evil
man, that's just people
making labels from another

across lifetimes of interactions

across lifetimes of civilizations 

only we are that

only we are this

narcissistic as a species

delusional, borderline crazy

"the human race", so "amazing"

but no, there never was a god
and no, there never was a devil
we're all just these... 

f*****g people, together

forged from a nature

occasionally conscious

trapped in that nature

together 

telling stories

from boredom

sometimes coercion 

bending immediate situations

amongst another

into meanings that immediately suit us

and maybe occasionally

an immediate future

(if it suits us)

and everything else. . .

all the death and destruction

the catastrophes and extinctions 
all the killing and the eating

from yesterday into tomorrow

all this survival in flesh, bone and words 
in the 'before' and the 'after'

death, dung and earth. . .

all our notions of judgement 

our stories of cloud men 

superheroes and villains 

all our laws

our commandments

 and punishments. . .

after the great living and dying

of all our lifetimes  

across all the oceans of time. . .

we remain this 

beyond all of that

in the end, 

 just some things

for a time

that lived 

and then died
