and your world burns...

I am the one
  who will do great violence to that thing

  for what I have done

               and
I am always...

 that thing you will abandon

   pretended never existed 
     I am the one

You will pretend... 

until the next time,
until the next one,
until the next war...

You will pretend.

And I will be there

Because this is all I can do

Because this is all that you want
