I guess the answer to this would differ for every reader. Sacred is sacred. Some die for sacred.

Your posted image is interesting. Pumping iron might appeal to some women, but not quite my cup of tea, but then I'm old fashioned. My granddaughter is starting to get carried away with tattoos. They are beautiful, but I worry that when she is middleaged, she will hate them. Your poem made me wander.

Death in it of itself is sacred. Birth and death are equal propositions to me. Would you exist to conserve what is sacred even if that thing was death?

..... tattoo's are a difficult one. Do it right and you have a lifelong companion, do it wrong and you have some relatively irremovable graffiti. But you can't make decisions... the world is never how you desire it to be. Good thing you are wiser than me. You should get a tattoo, for real.... I think you should.
