Burn Me To Life

our sun burns so this color may shine

and the living dies so the unborn may rise

who are you to say

who i am to be

we are not

we are yes

no one has ever been here

not before

not after

who knew what would be here

after,  the start began...

before the language

after the words

write this guidebook

based on something we've forgotten

no one

with me, please... just don't be an a*****e

together for now

we can refigure this out again,

and again... we will burn

sometimes each other

Your description brings a depth to what loses and gains we have throughout life. Your ending especially touched me as you said,

I hate it how we do this to each other but it is true and a perfect depiction of that circle of life. I don’t think most of us try to harm each other but we surly do. However I do believe that most of us strive to learn from it and as you said so beautifully “rise again!”

I agree, I don't think most of us harm each other on purpose. But we do it anyway for some reason... no one gets through life without causing and receiving some kind of psychic and physical damage. We are animals after all... pain is the entry fee to experience the reality. Some of us think that pain is the only true way to experience reality. I'm not one of those people... I prefer a little pleasure thrown in there just for fun. Balance is key (also, misery sucks)
