I'll admit, the title drew me. And no matter how you read it, it reads well. But I'm leaning towards a metaphoric stain on society or maybe on one's heart after being exposed to something undesirable that taints our views and feelings.

It's better to read it as a natural stain on existence, not always in a bad way or good way or anyway. Some people make better teabags than others. Some people taste like nothing at all.

I stayed with the relaxation music far longer than the time spent on your poem. I tried to think of the tea bag as a metaphor, all I got was a shopping list. Out of tea, buy more. How many times can you use one tea bag. It gets weaker, weaker and weaker. I guess life can drain you like that at times.

It depends what you put on your list, how you order it, what you are willing to spend on certain things. Life does drain us, but we don't have to get weaker. That's just a physical thing... the mind is a more powerful thing. Take what the world is willing to give you while you can have it.
