Abuse of Emotion

humans we will lie

when we speak the truth

sometimes we will cry 

without sadness

we may smile with dead eyes

we may laugh at bad jokes

or ignore entirely

our core of emotions

.

this is our tragedy

unacknowledged

together we suffer

our truth in the lie

our shared version of reality

lying with the truth

into happiness

... and what's wrong with that?

(as we wander through our fantasy)
