Poems like this have a certain kind of rawness to them that could easily be missed if one were to take the poem at face value. Sure, on the surface, its a witty remark on the fleeting ability to make poor decisions, but when you look deeper, you get a testament to both frivolity and youth.
(I only lean into the youth aspect of it because this is behavior you will most likely see within a young population, although I do suppose it could happen to about anyone of any age)
I really enjoyed the sudden brakeline approach you get at the very end. Its almost like a testament to hedonism riiiiiiight until you pop that bubble with "and now everyone is sick". It legitimately made me go "oh that was unexpected" out loud. Witty, cheeky, and a good read.

No matter what color, we all get sweaty, have sex, swim naked and are susceptible to diseases, maybe we don't all drink daiquiri's but might want to try them. We are all filled with humanness...
