Bill was the man. They don't make musicians like that anymore. To be honest, I don't think he would want to be a musician today. He'd probably start a car wash with Jimi Hendrix and Bradley Nowell.

Boy could play... though I'm admittedly not the biggest Sublime fan. Naw, ska was right around the corner in my neck of the woods, that awkward mashup of white boy funk and punk. It... didn't age well. Nowell could play though, I'll give them that. It's the heavier musics for me these days... though Ms. Hilary Hahn on the violin is making a strong case for mellower vibes, of a sort.

Yes. Yes I am. Apocalyptica is wonderful. The only instrument I like more than a violin is the cello.

I am a bassist, and a former tuba/sousaphonist, among a few other instruments. Bass is tremendous when done well, which I only do sometimes. Music though. Whatever Schopenwhoever said about the whatnot of arts. Great stuff.
