A Wealth of Value

sometimes
to expose the core
we shed the surface
sometimes
to find the value
we burn the wealth

It is always a delicate balance as we sculpt ourselves. We want to understand what we carry inside, but we must be careful. We must not carve too deeply or we risk causing too much damage. Still, this is a personal choice. Only we can say which is better, i.e., to render our cores more naked or to keep various parts clothed and even partially hidden from ourselves. An interesting poem.
