The Scent From Within

here in my brain

from the words outside

left over from echoes 

there is a sound deeply internal 

 resounding 

 reverberating 

from the music external

there is something i feel

from the flesh meat within

into the brain pan inside

i digest

and i feel this intimately

somehow alone

i do this together

deeply without words

far beyond sound

we can tell

we are human

 from the inside

i can hear it

 from the outside

can you feel it?

what need not make sense

as long as it lasts...
