Gaia

Gaia

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

...

"
from the soul to the brain
no one really walks alone
from the water to the sand
between the mud and back again
no one really walks alone
nothing really holds its own
not on this place
not on this earth
between the soul
between the brain
there lies a nature
within our shadow
  she is violent
   she is precious
it is disaster
in our mother nature

    we are together.

This feels like you speaking gently, without raising your voice, yet making something undeniable clear.
It sounds as if you're reminding us that solitude is a story we tell ourselves, not a truth we live by.
When you repeat "no one really walks alone," it feels less like reassurance and more like a correction.

You speak of nature the way one speaks of a mother who gives life and takes it back without apology
violent, precious, never owned. By placing Gaia in our shadow, it feels like you're saying she follows us everywhere, carrying the consequences of our thoughts and actions. She is not separate from the soul or the brain; she moves between them.

And when you end with "we are together," it lands quietly but firmly. Not as comfort, but as accountability.
A reminder that connection is not optional, and neither is the care it demands.

I think you understand what I wrote here better than I do. Thank you very much for that review.
