Cloth

Cloth

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"
long into afterthought
there are stains from the past
pseudo forgotten
kept within the mind
buried deep under reason
hidden perfectly in the present
fitting neatly into the puzzle
all the damage from the past
all the stains upon the soul
an artwork upon the stage
a sculpture between the minds
unaddressed...
over time, we are finding
the puzzle was never perfect
the present is just a mask
confusing awareness with insight
we must remember
our stain must be acknowledged
before the delusion consumes me
i must remember
the pain, it is worth it
for reality, it is real

Good video!
The poem is so intriguing.
We always relate to the author's words...
I try to forget things that bother me.
Bitterness with eat you from the inside out.
Start each day, "This is the day that the LORD has made! I will be glad and thankful in it!"

I love the line "our stain must be acknowledged"
But I wonder for most of us if that will ever happen.
Truly.

I like this. Truly compelling read.

Especially towards the end, it gives the reader a reality check just before finishing the journey.

Energetic, soulful and an imaginative piece.
