There is a novel from the mid 90's called "Infinite Jest". It's supposed to be generational and transcendent and all that jazz... I didn't really see it though when I read it in the mid 2000's. I actually thought it was a huge waste of my time. Oh but I don't think that anymore. David Foster Wallace was indeed onto something. If he was still kickin' today, he'd probably commit suicide again.

It's a slog man... that is a specific type novel form, encyclopedic fiction. Woof woof. It turned out to be worth it though. I jest about suicide and s**t but, I really wish David Foster Wallace was still around to see today's state of affairs. Infinite jest, ouroboros without regulation... America baby. It's f*****g terrifying.
