reality melts

the deeper you dig

into the mind

behind the sarcastic

underneath the tragic

below the deep darkness 

further down the hole

your rock turns plastic

all that iron aligns

overly dense

impenetrable

the core

a memory

dissipating

forgotten 

the heat remains
