the light shines

harsh over time

the light shines

through innocent eyes

upon the meat canyon

deep into the mind

for years and years

the light shines

the light shines

perpetually

over time

over time

every innocent mind

bound to something else

calmly dissolving

over time

the light shines

over time

the mind dissolves

over time

it was always nothing but,

  the shining light

like a refreshing drink

   pure starlight 

poured over time

with a twist of flesh ; )
