It Already Started

a long time ago

in the arguments we have

there is a way we disagree

far beyond words

there is a viciousness

it is insidious 

inside the animal human

there is a darkness

beyond the primate

there is a great poison

and in our conversations

we all tend to ignore

just why we adore

the arguments we have

so very viciously 

we tend to pretend

we are not animal
