a bias is confirmed

as reason turns to feeling

 exposing a fault within our process

sometimes a madness takes control

when all our guardrails do erode

our reason trends irrational

as more fallacy takes hold  

devouring feeling, confusing reason

forcing actions deeply distorted accordingly

until the bias it is confirmed

and the empathy it is truly atrophied
