cigarettes

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"
in the urge to fight the boredom
to combat the crushing weight
held closely internally
deeply held inside the reality
in between the search for shelter
the hunt for food ...
we found a purpose
in the nothing
we found excitement
for a reasonable fee
it's made us feel
it has helped combat the weight
with a crushing existence
our addictions sooth us
fully placated
we are invincible
until the end

Though speakest from within thy big fat shoe.
Egads! Thy big fat foot will fit thy mouth perfectly!

Haven’t smoked a cigarette since I was 16. I reckon I’ve saved a lot of money and maybe my health too.
