Fluid Between Friends

liquidity

when fluid becomes precious,

the empathy atrophies

we all turn vampiric 

relentless

insatiable

murderously thirsty

pathetic and greedy

prone to travesty

destined for disaster

Thank you. The re read value is why I think shot form poetry is so lovely. My haikus are terrible so I kinda made up my own version of, whatever this is. Every few weeks I attempt something long form but, that's a lot of work. I'm kinda lazy, and I smoke too much pot.
