this is my first try at writing a tanka poem.

Goddess of crossroads

Torches lighting the paths way,

She who works afar

Night wandering Hekate

Lady who nurses the young

What does "she who works afar" refer to? I hadn't heard of Hecate being known for nursing the young. Favorite line: "Night wandering Hekate"
