A Most Familiar Memory

A Most Familiar Memory

A Poem by littlewonders

Like the smell of rain splattering across the pavement
Like the car radio playing a long forgotten tune
Like the first warm touches of sheets out of the dryer
Like the last sips of chamomile at the end of the night
A most familiar memory
A bittersweet moment
Lasting only seconds before your off into the world again
