Future, Present, Past

Nobody knows what will happen 

In the great future that we all dream of

Thinking about the future

You think of your dreams

What will become of you?

Think about a new you

Waiting for the future to come

But there is never a future

There is always a present

There is only Past and Present

The future Does not exist

Since you are always in the present

The future....

Thinking about your dreams

Thinking about you

What will become of you?

But instead of thinking of the future

Why not think about the present?

Since we will always be in the present

It's time to make the most of it

Slowly realizing that the path your walking never leads you to the future

It only takes you farther in your life

Because you are always in the present

The future dependes on what you will do in the present

The past is past 

Time has only two states

Present and past

The Future is the Present

Because you work things out in the Present

Thiniking about the Future

Thinking of what will become of me

Thinking about the world

It's Time to forget the past

Dream about the future

And work in the Present

Plain and simple, this poem describes my beliefs of past, present, and future to a pin-point. I have always told others that each is separated by a second in time. The past had happened a second ago, the present is happening now, each second that arrives in the present, and the future will happen a second from now. Even as I write this, countless of seconds have gone, and each sentence was written in the past, although the gap between past, present, and future is only by one second. There is a future, but it's happening a second from now. It's gone within a flash. The only point in time that lasts forever is the present. Great job, well done, and it shows a great deal when I write such a large review on someone's poem or story, meaning it's worth many words. Keep up the work, and I'll be looking forward to reading more. Thanks for the read request!

This is awesome. I really liked the part when it said, "But instead of thinking of the future
Why not think about the present?" It is so true, people say, "Oh it will be better in a year." And a year comes by and it's worse then before.

...again it's time to forget again about everything...the future depends upon what you will do in the present...that is interesting...as the day is still relatively new, there is much promise in it, I need to discover what form of poetry to write in if...what a great day it is :)
