Incinerated Love

Incinerated Love

A Poem by lizc0123

A match lights.

A forest grove ignites.

The animals scurry.

The world spins around me in a frantic hurry.

You vanished from behind your cape.

It is you I cannot recreate.

A raindrop falls.

An abandoned heart calls.

The wind it whistles.

The dancing trees bristle.

You've extinguished my vivid flames.

There is no one here to rest the blame.
