Alone

He was alone.
 
Alone with his thoughts and the sky.
That piercing emptiness of the sky
Filled with brilliance of the midday sun,
Clear of any doubts.

He watched that sun rise
When he opened his eyes.
He will see that sun going down.
His eyes will close then.

Alone.

Alone with his mind.
Listening - her whisper dying away.
Quiet.
No more sounds.

The silence.

That deafening silence
Of the calm of the night
Under the starry blanket,
So recklessly thrown around.

He will see the sun again -
Climbing high.
Moments later -
Will watch the sun rolling down.

Alone.

Alone with his heart.
Beating.
Hoping.
Lost.
Dreaming to be found.
