The Healing Note

The Healing Note

A Poem by Brandon Houser

Teach me how to play a tune
For which you will dance
So alive on sacred ground

Surrender to waiting nights
Free within your song
To unchain all that was bound

May you carry every note
In silent prayer
Said by all the falling stars

Just let your music play on
Til time heals all wounds
In a world free of scars

I see someone who cares profoundly for someone, or even the world, and finds music, through experience, to be a great spiritual vehicle for healing.

Well done.

Thank you so much for reading
Brandon, that is so beautiful.
With all the anxiety and apprehension now in the world, this sounds so full of promise.
I adore the title, The Healing Note.
Thank you for writing and sharing, friend.

Always happy to see you pop up. Thanks for reading!
Music has great healing power. Oh for music that would bring harmony to all, soothing the wounds from the past. Beautiful thoughts here Brandon.

About
Not sure what to add here. I have been writing poems since I was 16. Saved much of it, lost some of it. I'm 51 now. Lately I have felt a need to get my voice out there. I guess like a lot of .. more..
