Love Notes

This is one of my favorite poems that I have written.

The Songs of the East have risen

Floating on the glorious dawn

Reverberating simple words of love

Singing, you are the most beautiful song

The chiming bells whisper sweet notes

And our kisses have numbered anecdotes

The hourglass of time

Plays on our unconscious mind

Yet our touches are a continuous rhyme

So halt those rose gold tears

Everything is fine

Don't sit with wounds in your heart

For true love is a work of art

The songs of the West have settled

Sleeping in the warmth of tomorrow

Echoing the comfort of the day

Singing, this is the most beautiful way
