Loving youA Story by Elli🦝
You sit on my bed, phone in hand as you scroll through TikTok. I'm up, cleaning all around, doing laundry, picking up the floor. You set your phone down and stand, walking to me. You wrap your arms around my neck, you body pressing against my side. You distract me from cleaning, getting me to lay down with you. You wrap yourself all around me as you go through your reels, showing me them occasionally. Every laugh you let out, every smile that you show, I just stare.
I lay on your bed, watching TV. Your cat comes over, laying against my side, pressing his head into my arm, trying to get attention. I pet him softly while still watching TV. Your other cats lay on my stomach and in between my knees. I move the slightest to get more comfortable. You come over, laying down on my other side. You rest your hand on my chest, your leg over my hip, your arm wrapped around my stomach just above your cat. I rub your back with one hand as I feel you go limp against me, your breathing even. I won't move, not wanting to disturb you. We walk through the trails, hand in hand. You wrap your arms around one of mine, your hand rubbing my bicep as we talk and giggle. You tell a story you find funny, and I laugh at the stupidity of the things that happened. You lean against me, your head on my shoulder. Every glance down at you, my heart stutters. You rest your feet in my lap, pointing out every pretty landmark you see. I just smile, and call them beautiful. I rest my hand on your shin, knowing you'd punch me if I went any higher or lower. It'll go quiet as the music plays softly, until I hear you say my name, and tell me you love me. Every moment with you, whether you're just sleeping, or simply sitting next to me, is treasure to me. Every photo I see, every touch I feel, every time you say my name, I lose my breath. Until death, you'll keep on being you, and I'll keep on loving you. © 2026 Elli🦝Reviews
