What did I do?A Chapter by Scarlett BrookeTitle is self explanatory.
I imagined a farm; abounding green fields freckled with enormously grand weeping willows. Goats frolic in the pasture, while chickens lay all the fresh eggs you can eat. A garden patch, carefully architected beside the coop, grows abundant with plump tomatoes climbing tall trellises while grapes, sweet and juicy, over arch delicate arbors. Harmony, peace, a present state of happiness; that’s what I knew was waiting for me inside this imagined sustainable oasis. And as quickly as the visions of tangible happiness entered my head, I acted. I bought my farm. And now that I’m living my dream, I can honestly say, I made a huge mistake.
