My Heart Gave In To You

I didn't plan to trip over you.
That's one thing I don't really comprehend.
But my heart calls out for you.
That's something I have no control over.

I guess that's just what destiny is.
But honestly, before you came my way
I shut down every road and built up walls
That will lead me into falling for someone

I managed to learn the game
I managed to play the game
Thinking that by that
Things will get easier

I did this to run away from pain.
Then you came around
You manage to find one road that lead to my heart
And knock down the wall.

But now I just can't get my mind off you
Now your more than just a game.
You've become someone that I miss terribly.
I can not live without you baby.

I've fallen for you
Yes it came from my mouth
That's no doubt.
Finally, my heart gave in

This poem brought tears to my eyes, and somehow, in the in between of writing this
and reading the significance of the words, from you as a poet giving hope to mine own heart as the reader,
I somehow heard the voice of God, He wanted me to relay a message:

You already know and realize your true heart then,
so do not deceove your own self.)

I'm glad your heart finally gave in.

You remind me that I need to outpour my own heart in words;
even if I can never do it as beautifully, wonderfully, as you.
You always seem to speak for the both of us (when positive like this)
each time I return to read your poetry.
