Hidden Pain

This just goes to show that even if you may not show it, you can be in pain and just trying to hide it.

With a smile on my face
So you don't know
Inside my heart breaks
Not alone, yet so lonely
I've got what it takes
To hide it all

The inner me lurks inside
Hidden beneath the surface
Hidden tears drip down on my soul
Anger, pain, lonleyness
I hide it

I'm so strong on the outside
So weak on the inside
You'll never know what real pain is...

Until you try to hide it.

So very sad and so very true... It is a struggle each day and one that is not always accomplished well and people around make it worse by pointing out that they know your hiding it and trying to make it better when they can't... completely awesome write! and unfortunatly so relatable.
