Expansive Humanism

Expansive Humanism

A Poem by Veronica Staehle
"

Nothing to something; coming out of the numb.

"
Precision is possessive: only this or that.
Distinguishing nuisances or brazen depictions.
Expand expressions from tongues to body,
wind sways and affects.
Hold breaths only temporarily,
eyes look high only for a moments glance.

Feel the earth or pavement hold weight below. But internally soar.
Not experience nor ceilings can prevent the strength growing and brewing.
Timely, all will release and power
and integrity will pour out authentically.
Cannot make or create what is organic.
Itself it grows.

This feels quite dada to me. A sorta stream o thought linking of words, ideas and sentiments...

The title itself is abstract, and the rest kinda reads that way. Precision, expressions, breath, eyes, power...

For me, I sense a sorta burgeoning idea swelling in a person

"Itself it grows"

Which might point back to the title.

'Expand expressions from tongues to body, ~ wind sways and affects. ~ Hold breaths only temporarily, '

A search for something shapeless yet ever present.. a bending of thought and emotion. A mix and unmatch of.. you... being moulded as you shape your own space, own motion.. .. perhaps!
