What will it take 

For you to see

The pain which lies

Inside of me

What will it take

For you to know 

The loneliness

Inside my soul

I wonder if you'll

Ever hear

My silent cries

Or see my tears

Emptiness lies

Where once was a soul

Not wanting to feel

Am no longer whole

You think that 

You know me

But you'll never know

What goes on inside 

This deep tortured soul

Good write here. I know what it is like to be a tortured soul as I am one. No one will ever see the real you or know how you feel inside. This is such a powerful poem and I loved every line. Good job.
