Just whipped this up, thoughts?

A blank page

Stares at me

But what do I see?

Possibility

 

Words.

On the page

My pen scribbles

The ink dribbles

The lines are a cage

 

Holding me back,

Holding me in

The words and letters should twist and swirl

Like the plot within

Intricate and unique

Like the snow that falls

A cross out there, a add-in here,  a tweak

 

The line of black that bends and swirls

Dots and dashes and lines

Letters and sentences devise

A masterpiece from the heart

Just as real and beautiful as painted art

If not more, for paintings give the image

While words create

"paintings give the image/ While words create" I love the idea of that, absolutely love it. This poem was really beautiful and I loved the whole idea of words creating a masterpiece.
I think that if you wanted to add more it wouldn't hurt, but I don't think you need more.

This is amazing, it's a great view on writing. "Paint pictures with words" is one of my favorite quotes, you that's the view I got from this. Again, great job and keep it up! =D
