Fake StarsA Poem by SophieStars now hang from tall stands of metal Exotic animals are deer Flowers are bread to have the prettiest petals
Is nothing sacred? Is nothing natural? Has the world been too filled with crime and hatred?
The stars that supposedly dominate the sky Will I ever see them? Or only the ones that come from airplanes, flying with the birds' eye
The animals of the world silently mourn the loss of all that is green and replaced with gold and the loss of many of their brothers unseen.
Plant life, once natural and free has been changed to be uniform, and what we want to see
The world, green and blue filled with life and prosperity has been altered to a different hue and now natural things are a rarity. © 2012 SophieAuthor's Note
