The Life of a SnowflakeA Poem by Sophie?Twisting, falling
swirling, dancing on my tiny ballerina toes brothers and sisters float around me we are the snow Dancing to the music of the twining wind the sweet notes from the the drips of the singing icicles and the quiet clicking sound made by the landing of my kin A thin green figure looms toward me and I chasse away from the tree free again to swirl and twirl My six limbs bending gracefully Below me is a mass of my white, cold brethren they wave and cheer in greeting my joy of landing is fleeting I land, cushioned, by my family and nestle in knowing that my happiness wears thin Just like the layer of those I love © 2012 SophieAuthor's Note
