The Girl On Fire

Brave, strong

a heart withstanding any bomb

She looks with kindness

but those analyzing blue eyes

pierce to a very soul, seeing the lies

that reside within.

The girl on fire

she sees your soul

Her hair whips with the warmth

the flames

the waves

of red and gold

The girl on fire.

The fire is her halo,

circling her soul

the fire shows her courage

and will never fade

to amber coals
