I'll be Flying AgainA Poem by SophieCrazy guy thinks he can fly, dies. Yeah.I'd never flown before so I thought I'd give it a try, spread my blood red wings, hope that I don't die.
The cliff face rises fast, as my wings, losing their feathers, flap The glue on the twigs is coming undone my wings crumble, leaving one feather, one.
I pluck it from my shoulder, and stare at the shiny red on it. As I plummet to my death, I blow my out breath to dry my blood.
Soon I reach the ground, I break into a grin knowing that soon, I'll be flying again. © 2012 SophieAuthor's Note
