Wishes

Wrote this after spending a uplifting day with someone special.

parachute wishes blowing in the wind
tiny emanations of love swaying out and in

black canvas purging out the other side
colors of my soul in the sun they slowly die

synchronicity a tone heard before
tap tap tapping at my longings hidden door

willow carry my prayers to the ocean's wave
my soul crying out for what it truly craves

standing on the edge of what seems the end
I smile at all that I conjured from within
