Dad, I Love You

Dad, I Love You

A Poem by Lunar Lightning

I used to be your favorite

Though I know it wasn't fair

You used to tell me everything

But now you've got me scared

I fear thaat you are drifting away

Your mind too busy for me

It seems as though you're letting go

And leaving our bond behind

Although it pains me to admit

It's something that I'll mis

But perhaps the time has come

For our minds to part ways

Don't take it too personally

It's simply to protect myself

Maybe one day we'll be close again

Till then:

Dad I love you

I understand this through and through... I like the ending... Seems to have some hope...
